A brief falter.

I have drifted off the path …

looking for answers in others again,

but I know you will forgive me.

Because you know what the outcome will be.

And so do I.

    • You’re very welcome … I try to catch up on other people’s work/thoughts when I can, intermittent though it may be. I am so pleased my poem had such an impact on you; it’s interesting to think that it has one meaning for me and probably a dozen others for other people reading it … there is a spiritual meaning at the core from my point of view though 🙂

  1. I know just what you speak of. i find myself doing this often. We must reach out to others but just for input, the answers lye within us. Beautiful writing! I too am just beginning to look within and nurture myself. I find when I do this all of my relationships improve. Put the oxygen mask on yourself first! My motto. I began a new blog today. Do not know if food is one of your interests, but if it is please check it out! Keep on writing!

    • Hmmm, I might borrow your motto; it’s a good one! It’s frustrating to find I’ve slipped back into an old habit. A friend encouraged me to live in the moment, but when everything seems to be going wrong it’s so easy to start wondering about the future again … only leads to confusion and problems, so it’s back to square one! I will def check out your other site. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
